The philosophy of SorgConsulting is “Humanities meet Business”. The company which was founded in 2001 has its office in Zurich.

SorgConsulting takes on the role of a Thinking Partner, has a focus on concepts and external relations strategies and undertakes complex interdisciplinary project management.

Our strengths are our international experience, our Swiss background of various cultures and languages within one country, our arts and social sciences approach and the constant growth of our network of connections.

Sorg Consulting & Co is a registered Swiss general partnership (CH-020.2.004.028-0). The partners are the brothers Andrea Sorg and Dr. Reto Sorg. The VAT number is 615 098.

SorgConsulting’s clients include service companies, foundations, trade associations, publishers, museums, theatres, towns, countries, the United Nations, banks, authorities, architects and planners.

Andrea Sorg: lic. ès lettres (University of Geneva), Diploma in Social Communication (University of Fribourg). Andrea Sorg (1971) studied communication in Fribourg and general history in Geneva and London. During his studies he was a trainee at the weekly newspaper Die Zeit (Hamburg), German State Television WDR (Cologne) and German State Television ZDF (Berlin) among others. He was also a producer for German State Television ARD (Geneva) for several years and was recently External Relations Associate at UNHCR (Geneva). Languages: German/French/English/Norwegian.

Reto Sorg: PhD (University of Berne), college teaching certificate (University of Berne). Reto Sorg (1960) studied literature, history and history of art in Bern and Berlin and is the author of various arts and cultural publications. He is a member of various commissions and foundations and director of the foundation Robert Walser Berne. He also is a lecturer at the University of Lausanne. Languages: German/English/French.
